LESSONS LEARNT: landscape delivery – NIAs

The Greater Thames Marshes NIA is just one of 12 Nature Improvement Areas established by Defra in 2012 to test and develop approaches to delivering landscape scale conservation.

NIAs have worked collaboratively throughout the programme to share best practice and lessons learnt, and have now co-operated to produce a short publication to capture some of the achievements made by partners. This document includes a foreward from Sir John Lawton, reviewing the process his report “Making Space for Nature” catalysed, and summaries from each NIA outlining progress made.

This document is now available for download.
